# Weav API > Accept payments in the Philippines with one integration. Base URL: https://api.weavpayments.com (paths start with /v1). Auth: an API key as a Bearer token; wv_test_ keys are test mode, wv_live_ keys live mode, and live keys are refused from a browser. Money is a JSON number in pesos (1250.00), never a string. Times are ISO 8601 in Asia/Manila (+08:00). Every response is { code, success, message, data }. Every page below is Markdown. For tools: the MCP server at https://docs.weavpayments.com/mcp (search the docs, read pages and endpoints), and the OpenAPI file at https://docs.weavpayments.com/openapi.yaml. ## Guides: Get started - [Introduction](https://docs.weavpayments.com/index.md): The Weav API lets your server accept payments through QR Ph, GCash, Maya, cards and over-the-counter partners, check your balance, and follow your withdrawals. You integrate once, and Weav handles each provider behind the scenes. - [Core concepts](https://docs.weavpayments.com/concepts.md): The things you work with in Weav, what each one is for, and how they connect: checkouts, payments, channels, saved cards, your balance, withdrawals and webhooks. - [How payments work](https://docs.weavpayments.com/how-payments-work.md): Who does what in a payment, from checkout to the webhook, for each kind of channel. The numbers in each diagram are the order things happen in. - [Authentication](https://docs.weavpayments.com/authentication.md): Every request needs one of your secret API keys, sent as a Bearer token. - [Test mode](https://docs.weavpayments.com/test-mode.md): Test mode is for building and testing your integration. It never uses a real provider sandbox. Weav simulates every channel and lets you decide how each payment ends. - [Build with AI](https://docs.weavpayments.com/build-with-ai.md): Give your AI assistant Weav's docs: every page as Markdown, llms.txt, and an MCP server it can search. ## Guides: API basics - [Errors](https://docs.weavpayments.com/errors.md): Errors use standard HTTP status codes. An error response never includes data, so you can't read partial results from a failed request. - [Pagination](https://docs.weavpayments.com/pagination.md): List endpoints return results newest first, one page at a time, using a cursor. - [Idempotency](https://docs.weavpayments.com/idempotency.md): Networks fail. Retry a create with the same request, and Weav never makes a second payment. - [Rate limiting](https://docs.weavpayments.com/rate-limiting.md): Each account can make up to 3,000 API requests a minute (50 a second), across all of its keys in live and test mode together. If you need more, contact support. - [Retries](https://docs.weavpayments.com/retries.md): Networks fail, both ways. Weav retries every webhook it sends you until your server takes it, and you can retry your own calls to Weav without ever doing something twice. ## Guides: Webhooks - [Event types](https://docs.weavpayments.com/webhooks/event-types.md): Weav sends a signed POST whenever something you need to know about happens. Set where it goes with PUT /v1/webhook-endpoint; see Where each webhook goes. - [Payload](https://docs.weavpayments.com/webhooks/payload.md): Every webhook has the same shape: the event name, when it was sent, and the full resource. - [Verifying signatures](https://docs.weavpayments.com/webhooks/verifying-signatures.md): Check every webhook before you trust it. The X-Signature header is an HMAC-SHA512 of the raw request body, in lowercase hex, made with your signing key. - [IP addresses](https://docs.weavpayments.com/webhooks/ip-addresses.md): Weav sends every webhook from these two IP addresses. Allow them on your firewall, and keep verifying signatures. ## Guides: Payments - [Channels](https://docs.weavpayments.com/channels.md): What each channel asks of your customer, and what you get back. - [Statuses](https://docs.weavpayments.com/statuses.md) - [Saved cards](https://docs.weavpayments.com/saved-cards.md): Save your customer's card once, then charge it whenever you need to, with no customer present: subscriptions, top-ups, auto-debit. - [Subscriptions](https://docs.weavpayments.com/subscriptions.md): Charge your customers every week, month or year with a saved card. You keep the plan and the schedule; Weav charges the card when you ask. - [Refunds](https://docs.weavpayments.com/refunds.md): Refunds go through Weav support. There's no refund endpoint: you see each refund on the payment and get a webhook. - [Chargebacks](https://docs.weavpayments.com/chargebacks.md): A chargeback is when the customer's bank or card provider takes a payment back, for example after the customer disputes it. Weav records it once the provider has taken the money back. ## API reference: Overview - [API reference](https://docs.weavpayments.com/reference.md): Every Weav API endpoint, with its parameters, responses and code samples in cURL, Node.js, JavaScript, PHP, Python, Go, Rust and Java. - [Response codes](https://docs.weavpayments.com/reference/response-codes.md): code is a 7-digit string. The first three digits match the HTTP status, the next two name the service, and the last two name the case. ## API reference: Checkouts - [List checkouts](https://docs.weavpayments.com/reference/checkouts/list-checkouts.md): GET /v1/checkouts - [Create a checkout](https://docs.weavpayments.com/reference/checkouts/create-checkout.md): POST /v1/checkouts - [Retrieve a checkout](https://docs.weavpayments.com/reference/checkouts/retrieve-checkout.md): GET /v1/checkouts/{reference_id} - [Cancel a checkout](https://docs.weavpayments.com/reference/checkouts/cancel-checkout.md): POST /v1/checkouts/{reference_id}/cancel ## API reference: Payments - [List payments](https://docs.weavpayments.com/reference/payments/list-payments.md): GET /v1/payments - [Create a payment](https://docs.weavpayments.com/reference/payments/create-payment.md): POST /v1/payments - [Retrieve a payment](https://docs.weavpayments.com/reference/payments/retrieve-payment.md): GET /v1/payments/{reference_id} - [Cancel a payment](https://docs.weavpayments.com/reference/payments/cancel-payment.md): POST /v1/payments/{reference_id}/cancel ## API reference: Payment methods - [List saved payment methods](https://docs.weavpayments.com/reference/payment-methods/list-payment-methods.md): GET /v1/payment-methods - [Save a payment method](https://docs.weavpayments.com/reference/payment-methods/create-payment-method.md): POST /v1/payment-methods - [Retrieve a payment method](https://docs.weavpayments.com/reference/payment-methods/retrieve-payment-method.md): GET /v1/payment-methods/{id} - [Remove a payment method](https://docs.weavpayments.com/reference/payment-methods/remove-payment-method.md): DELETE /v1/payment-methods/{id} ## API reference: Balance - [Get your balance](https://docs.weavpayments.com/reference/balance/get-balance.md): GET /v1/balance - [List ledger entries](https://docs.weavpayments.com/reference/balance/list-ledger-entries.md): GET /v1/ledger-entries ## API reference: Withdrawals - [List withdrawals](https://docs.weavpayments.com/reference/withdrawals/list-withdrawals.md): GET /v1/withdrawals - [Retrieve a withdrawal](https://docs.weavpayments.com/reference/withdrawals/retrieve-withdrawal.md): GET /v1/withdrawals/{reference_id} ## API reference: Channels - [List channels](https://docs.weavpayments.com/reference/channels/list-channels.md): GET /v1/channels ## API reference: Webhooks - [Repost a payment's latest webhook](https://docs.weavpayments.com/reference/webhooks/repost-payment-webhook.md): POST /v1/payments/{reference_id}/webhooks/repost - [Get your webhook URL](https://docs.weavpayments.com/reference/webhooks/get-webhook-endpoint.md): GET /v1/webhook-endpoint - [Set your webhook URL](https://docs.weavpayments.com/reference/webhooks/set-webhook-endpoint.md): PUT /v1/webhook-endpoint - [Remove your webhook URL](https://docs.weavpayments.com/reference/webhooks/remove-webhook-endpoint.md): DELETE /v1/webhook-endpoint ## Changelog - [Changelog](https://docs.weavpayments.com/changelog.md): Changes to the API and these docs, newest first. ## Optional - [Everything in one file](https://docs.weavpayments.com/llms-full.txt) - [OpenAPI 3.1](https://docs.weavpayments.com/openapi.yaml) - Support: support@weavpayments.com
